SNACK Weekender
February 27 - March 6, 2021
Over 2 huge weekends, SNACK blew the roof off Metro City with Australian super talents Lime Cordiale and the world-first live debut of Tame Impala Sound System from Kevin Parker.
The weekends featured a rooftop silent disco, 4 specialty bars including the Espresso Martini Lounge and huge stage productions with epic light installs, pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke and visuals.
ARTISTS
Tame Impala Sound System
In a world-first debut, TAME IMPALA members Kevin Parker, Dom Simper and Jay Watson lit up SNACK with their first live incarnation of TAME IMPALA SOUND SYSTEM. Using their overflowing arsenal of synths, sequencers and samplers to rework and reimagine tracks from the Tame Impala discography and beyond, Tame Impala Sound System delivered a pulsating, fully live and organic, free-flowing digital jam out.
Lime Cordiale
Aria Award-winning act LIME CORDIALE graced the SNACK stage over 2 huge nights in Perth. Their infectious performance and genuine interactions with their fans have made them one of Australia’s buzziest live acts. This was reflected in the Triple J Hottest 100 poll in January when Lime Cordiale was the only act to have four songs in the top 40 of Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2019, backed up by five songs in the 2020 count.
